Community Solar is a local energy option that makes solar power available to renters and homeowners with no up-front costs or expensive solar panels. Our community solar farm in New Jersey generates power from the sun and delivers it into the PSE&G power grid. 

It’s simple. Your PSE&G account will be linked to Eversolar. They’ll allocate a share of our solar energy to match your electricity usage. This generates solar credits on your utility bill, reducing the amount you owe to PSE&G – and you’ll save with a 21% discount on those credits.

You’re eligible if you’re a renter or homeowner. You can live in an apartment, a condo or a house. No solar panels required – all you need is a PSE&G utility account.

No. By enrolling with Eversolar, you can avoid the hassle and expense of installing solar panels. This way renters – not just homeowners – can qualify for savings too.

Nothing. PSE&G remains your utility provider. It’s that easy!

Yes, you’re eligible to receive this 21% discount. All New Jersey PSE&G customers are eligible, regardless of your income or financial situation. Your participation in these programs will not be impacted.

Yes, you can still participate in community solar if you have budget billing set up with PSE&G. It would, however, change your monthly charges. You would be paying your set monthly amount to PSE&G, as well as your discounted statement from Eversolar for the monthly credits accrued. Then, during your true-up period with PSE&G, those solar credits would be applied— reducing any balance due. You would still receive your 21% savings on the solar credits, but you would not see the benefits of those credits until the utility’s balancing month. If you have any questions about your Equal Payment Plan, please contact PSE&G.

You’ll continue to receive a bill from PSE&G, which will show a credit for the solar energy allocated to you. There is no change to your PSE&G service. You’ll receive a monthly bill from Eversolar listing your discounted cost of electricity and how much money you’ve saved each month.

You’ll save 21% on your electricity costs for up to 20 years or until you cancel. If you move out of PSE&G territory or want to cancel for any reason, just contact us. There are no cancellation fees.

Your PSE&G bill will show a reduction from the solar credits allocated to your account. Then you’ll receive a monthly statement from Eversolar listing your discounted cost for the credits and how much money you’ve saved.

It’s free to enroll, with no up-front costs. If you choose to cancel for any reason or move out of the PSE&G service area, there’s no fee to cancel.

No, Eversolar does not require a minimum credit score or run a credit check as part of the enrollment process.

Your existing utility account number can be found on your utility bill or by signing into your utility account online.

If you enrolled with a promo code, you’ll receive your electronic gift card within six to eight weeks after account verification. We’ll send your gift card to the email address you provided during enrollment.

No, Eversolar is a community solar developer, which is not the same as a third-party retail energy supplier. Instead, Eversolar provides solar electricity to your utility company and you get a credit for the value of the electricity generated on your behalf. Your discount is also guaranteed for up to 20 years, unlike retail energy suppliers who offer short-term savings and can change rates often.

Enrolling with Eversolar is one of the easiest things you can do – it takes only minutes and you’ll receive utility savings every month. You can also tell your friends about Eversolar so more people enroll. It’s good for their budget and our state too.
